View Larger Map Make sure to PRE-REGISTER by Thursday the 23rd by 8pm and save some $ Come celebrate Hwa Rang Do® with your fellow brothers and sisters at this special Interschool Championships. This will be your chance to see each other in action and also push each other to a higher level. There will be divisions in all aspects of our wonderful art, so you will be sure to see exciting performances, no matter where you are from. For the second time, there will be a “Championship” format for different levels. Points will be awarded to placed finishes in all divisions, then at the end of the day those individuals with the most points accumulated from all divisions will be recognized for their accomplishments and as champions will be crowned for the titles of Hwarang (Black Sash), Rangdo (Color Belt), and Wonhwa (Woman), this will become an annual award for the top participants of these division levels. To be able to truly compete well in weapon forms, open hand forms, sparring, grappling, and kumdo takes considerable skill and dedication, however this is also our goal as Hwarang practitioners – to be masters of all types of martial skill! |
