all there is yet to learn. Truly Hwa Rang Do is a lifetime endeavor, and with
great humility I thank you, Sir, for sharing this Art with all of us.

Spriggs. This was when he was residing in tucson,az. He was an incredible teacher

carry the lessons he taught me both in the art and in the heart. Someday when
I'm worthy I hope to train again.

-Hwa Rang Everyone; i am a purple sash in Hwa Rang Do.I attend Bronx Hwa
Rang Do Acadamy and my instructors name is Sa Bu Nim Anthony Vargas.I am pleased
to say that my instructor Sa Bu Nim Anthony has led his student in the right
way... What I mean is that just this Sunday(10/17/04)there was a tornament.Everyone
of his Hwa Rang Do students took a place of eather first, second or third...But
that is not my point, my point is that after the tornament we all said; it's
not about the place it is about the experiance...I hope we made my instructor
proud of us, and we also hope that our friends and Hwa Rang Do family are
also proud. I also have to say that I am happy to be Sa Bu Nim Anthony's student...He
is a wonderful instructor who still and always will look after his students.
He helps us to understand Hwa Rang Do and apply it to our life everyday. So
everything that I learned and do well is for him. Okay untill next time..

The annual Hwa Rang Do Midwest
Championships was held yesterday May 1st. There were competitors for all
of the Midwest dojangs and clubs and everyone who competed did a great
job. It was great to see people step up and perform during the situations
and divisions of the tournament. There is nothing like the call to action
to test one's skills and limits - tournaments sure bring that out! Of
course it was also great to bring so many students, families, and
friends together under one roof for the tournament. I am always amazed
by the friendliness and camaraderie between everyone
in HRD and TSD even in a "competitive" environment. That speaks volumes
in regards to the participant's characters and our art. It is just
wonderful that people can compete and act with conviction, yet without
ego and attitude. Keep training hard! Hwa Rang!

Dear Hwa Rang Family, Once again I am writing in this
guestbook. I would like to congratulate those who participated at the
half black testing in Sarasota, FL. Just one more belt and a new generation
of Florida black belts will be born. I'm almost turning into a black belt.
A black belt is still a belt. I still have more to learn. I find myself
at Hwa Rang Do more and more often, helping out, learning, etc. The one
reason why I go to Hwa Rang Do more... is family. They are like family
to me. I would like to honor my instructor, because Hwa Rang Do would
not be the same without him. Jessie Vi is my friend, my instructor, and
my brother. I would like to honor Master Ki Tae Yum for showing me that
you can push yourself more than you think. Doing stretching and allowing
him to push me down showed me that, there is no limit to what we can do,
we just need to attempt it. Instructor Michael, who will correct and enhance
my knowledge of Hwa Rang Do. Lastly, the Hwa Rang Do school, I thank them.
From little ninjas to adults, Hwa Rang Do would not be the same without
them. HwaRang Kam Sa Hap Ni Da

find any telephone numbers or email addresses or any means of contacting
