2011 USA Championshps
& Summer Seminars
This year, Hwa Rang Do® has the honor of hosting our USA Championships 2011 within a Martial Arts Festival being co-sponsored by Origins International and Disney®.
On the 26th (see to right), in partnership with Origins & Disney, we will be holding Defend-Takedown-Submit seminars conducted by Grandmaster Taejoon Lee during 2 sessions in the afternoon at the Anaheim Marriot.
The next day on the 27th, we will conducting our USA Championships with a Martial Arts Festival comprosing of many other martial arts groups. Although our tournaments are closed, we are very excited about the opportunity to show the martial arts world the evolution of our competitive model.
As an additional opportunity for our members and public, the WHRDA will be hosting seminars to take place on Aug. 25th and 26th at World Headquarters before the Origins/Disney events.
Registration for the WHRDA events are separate from the Origns/Disney events. The schedule is shown on the right, in addition to being printed within the PDF download and registration form linked below.

The seminars on Thursday, Aug. 25th will be held at World Headquarters and are being organized by the World Hwa Rang Do Association, separate from the Disney events. The next morning on Friday, we will have one more seminar at World Headquarters, which is also beign organized by the WHRDA.

For these WHRDA sponsored events, we will be sending out registration forms to everyone shortly. These seminars were a late addition to give our visiting members more training opportunities with Dojoonim and Kuksanim.
On Friday at 2pm at the Anaheim Marriot, Kuksanim will conduct his first Defend-Takedown-Submit Seminar as part of the Disney organized events. Then later that afternoon at 5:30pm, he will conduct Part II of the Defend-Takedown-Submit series. The DTS seminars are in partnership with Disney, which is why they are being held at the Anaheim Marriot.
